The District is embarking down a path to update our strategic plan which includes providing ALL STUDENTS with quality, personalized learning that prepares them to meet current and future challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. We believe the best is yet to come for our students and the entire Belleville community.
As part of this initiative, we will be evaluating key areas such as student engagement and achievement, community involvement, staff excellence, resource alignment, and building needs. To support this work, the District has partnered with Steve Schroeder and Brad Saron for strategic planning, and with JP Cullen to conduct a comprehensive long-range facilities audit. We are also in the process of hiring an architectural firm to assist with this assessment, with plans to have them on board by mid-December.
In addition, a steering committee made up of dedicated community members has been formed to help guide this process. Community engagement is critical to our planning efforts. We will be hosting public meetings and sharing opportunities for community feedback through this website and our social media channels in the coming months.
Together, we are continuing a future where Belleville schools are equipped to meet the evolving needs of our students and community for generations to come.
