The School District of Belleville wants to engage with its students, staff, and families to foster a dynamic and positive social media presence and communicate effectively with its learning community. Through our social media platforms and partnerships with news affiliates, we strive to share our Wildcat stories, offering a window into the wonderful work we do as educators and the great things our students are accomplishing both inside and outside of the classroom.

School Communications

Our School District of Belleville website holds a wealth of information for our staff, students and families.  Recent news for the district about staff and student news can be found on our home page, as well as emergency school information which would appear as a red banner alert at the top of the page in the case of snow emergencies, or other need to know events impacting our students.  

Our communications work also includes official school announcements and school related information that comes out via Skylert email and text messages for families of students who opt in through Skyward found in Family Access.

Families can also access our YouTube Channel or our Live Stream Channel for daily announcements.  Our website also supports an index of student written news through hosting digital access to the Prowl, our BHS Newspaper.  Weekly school news can also be found in the Post Messenger Recorder newspaper under their “schools” section.
