On Monday, May 12, 2025, the Belleville Board of Education voted to approve the following letter to Senator Howard Marklein and Representative Jenna Jacobson, who represent Belleville, and the Joint Committee on Finance, regarding the 2025-2027 state budget.  The current budget places a heavy financial burden on local communities to support their schools through referendum dollars.
