🧑‍🏭 BHS AT BTC JUNKYARD WARS🧑‍🏭 
Blackhawk Technical College’s annual JunkYard Wars took place on May 22, 2026 at the Innovative Manufacturing Education Center on the Beloit-Janesville Campus. This year's competition featured teams of high school welding students transforming piles of scrap metal into unique sculptures that represented a theme of "hometown roots".  Mr. Berthelon took four of his best welders to this year's competition.  The BHS team's creation of a train engine reflects the importance of the railroad in Belleville's roots and development.  That piece is currently on display in the BHS Library.  Nice work Wildcats!!!
